The phrase "kneel down" is the Hebrew verb ברך (barak). This same word is used to mean to kneel down to present a gift as one would do to show respect to another.
It is an act of adoration, such as kneeling.
Picture it, you bring your newborn home from the hospital and fall on your knees on the carpet in pure devotion and adoration. What has your child done to deserve your love or your favour? They are simply your offspring :)
We love because He first loved us. True adoration of God is a reflection of His adoration of us. You are adored and He is alive in you!
lyrics
Yahweh will kneel before you, bearing gifts he will adore you
Surrounding you with protection, giving you his affection
Illuminating you with the wholeness of His being
You're beautiful because He's alive
In you
You're beautiful because He's alive in you
Father I kneel before you, with my life I will adore you
Enjoying your reflection, my heart bursts with affection
Illuminated by the wholeness of Your being
I'm beautiful because You're alive in me
I'm beautiful because You're alive in me
Holy is our God
He's set Himself apart for us
Lovely is our God
And lovely is who we are
Living to reflect who You are
My soul dances with each song. I can’t even put words to how my mind processes this music. It’s amazing. I could listen to Josh’s music exclusively and not tire. shannonf2
What can be said? What do you say about music/musician with such a creative and talented desire to only worship deeply?
Thank you Father! Thank you Josh
